{this moment} and a guest post

A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinaire moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

inspired by SouleMama

Capture a moment this week family

Happy Friday everyone,

I’m so happy the weekend is finally here, getting ready to finally relax with Nate and hubby. We are expecting rain for the next two days but that’s okay, we will be watching family movies; YAY! Netflix (no, this is not a sponsored post, we just love it that much)

You might have noticed that I added a picture of my son and our two tiny dogs taking a nap in our living room, this is because I discovered this Friday ritual over at SouleMama’s blog and I really liked it and thought it would be fun to post a picture of a ‘moment’ that I wanted to remember. This is not my typical post but I hope you don’t mind me indulging in this.

I also wanted to let you know that today I will be over at Larry’s blog Larry D Bernstein, I wrote a guest post about being a mommy blogger and how my son impacts my blogging. It’s a small and short post but I hope you will enjoy it.

If you haven’t visited Larry’s blog yet, I encourage you to check it out, it’s a father’s perspective of aΒ family/parenting blog. I’ve been following Larry for almost a year now but he’s been blogging for over 2 years and I truly enjoy reading his posts.

Wish everyone a wonderful weekend!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Ingrid

I just read the post. I was going to comment at Larry’s place, but couldn’t copy that password correctly:) I love that your son is your priority. It definitely gives your blog character, to have him so very involved in all that you do. I stopped trying to post on a schedule too. I keep hearing that I must be consistent…but I don’t like to rush or work on a deadline. I did that my whole life…now that we’re at home, we gotta take advantage of it. Our littles won’t want to hang out with us forever, like you said!

Thank you so much Amy for your sweet comment, you are right, I keep reading about it too but unfortunately at this moment in my life I can only post when it’s possible for me to do it! πŸ™‚ & he won’t stay this little for too long! thanks for reading my guest post over at Larry’s too, I can’t deny how my little man is involved in almost everything about posts (now, he’s next to me, trying to see what I’m doing!) πŸ™‚

What a delightful “down to earth” article. Little Nate will benefit greatly from having a “Mummy Blogger” Not only does he have Mum home but he also is learning that Mummy does other things that are important but that he comes first.
My own son has grown up with my web page and is a source of unending inspiration and a fair and serious critic. What a thrill when the little man says “that’s awesome Mummy!”
I enjoyed your guest blog. πŸ™‚

πŸ™‚ thank you so much! I’m glad when other moms know what it is having a little one or little ones and that their children think their work or anything we do is , you are very lucky! πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to hear that one day from mine too! πŸ™‚ Thanks again for reading the guest post over at Larry’s, I enjoyed very much writing about my little one πŸ™‚ with you a beautiful weekend!
