I’m always proud of everything my son does, but today he did something that made me swell with pride.
We were all getting ready to leave the house to go and get our 2 dogs nails clipped. My hubby was shoveling the snow and getting the car warmed up, I was getting everyone ready. As I was putting the leashes on the dogs, I noticed that my son got his spiderman winter boots, held on to the door frame and put on his boots one at a time by himself! “YAY” I screamed in my head as I did not want to traumatize my son in my excitement. Once I composed myself (matter of seconds) I hugged him and asked for a “Gimme five”. He then happily high five me. Despite the boots being on the wrong foot, I’m very impressed with my little 19 month old!
To help make this moment even more memorable, when I stepped out to tell my hubby what happened, my dog Angel took the liberty of relieving himself on my winter coat. I guess he could not contain his excitement either.
below is a picture of Angel our bichon! We love him so much, isn’t he the cutest dog you have ever seen? Yes, he is !!!

below is a picture of my grey winter coat!
I don’t know if this is typical for a 19 month old, but I’m impressed. Lets face it though, I’m impressed with him even when he sleeps so I’m a little bias.
Just wanted share the news and thanks again for stopping by!

Thank you Thea, I’m really glad you stopped by and read this, this is one reason I love blogging; you get to share anything you like even these small milestones. As for my coat, it seems to be OK, it’s dry and it’s “waterproof”, so I hope it won’t smell tomorrow
& Thank you, happy you like the design of the blog, I love playing with the format and colors

Your little boy is adorable! Don’t worry, my 23-month old still don’t understand that shoes have sides. I hope that you were able to rescue your coat.
Thank you for commenting on my blog today. I look forward to more conversations.
now at home mom says:
Thank you very much Kim! He is now 21 month old, has learned how to put them on, but surprisingly not how to take them off yet!
Like your 23 month old, I don’t mine understands that either. As for my coat; it is OK, I sent it for dry-cleaning, can’t wait to not use it anymore, spring is not far away! I appreciate you stopping by my blog today, I absolutely love yours and have been following it for a while and I’m really excited to follow your new adventure!
