Happy that the new 2013 IKEA catalog is FINALLY here

Last morning I was really excited because before 8 AM (Montreal) I received an e-mail in my inbox letting me know that the new IKEA 2013 catalog is finally here.  (Yeah!)

So I downloaded the free application from the App Store on my iPhone and started browsing.

Oh … I love so many things … I think you guys have already figured out that I love IKEA.

These are a couple of things that caught my eye from their new catalog:

The MK armchair from the 1950s with a new name “STRANDOM” wingback chair (page 2) (I already have a comfortable wingback chair so I won’t be getting this one but I still love it and wish I could have it)

The PS 2012 side table with 4 bowls (page 36) (this is nice for a playroom)

The “HARNOSAND” armchair (page 152) (love it, with a removable and washable cover)

The new IKEA PS 2012 TV bench (page 192) (in yellow is cute and perfect for a playroom)

The new IKEA PS 2012 dining table (page 217)(in Bamboo and aluminum, it’s nice and simple)

The new IKEA PS 2012 bench with shoe storage (page 250) (in solid pine)

The “DUKEN” queen bed frame with headboard cover (page 278) (you have the option to choose one of the two machine washable headboard covers)

I also loved the way they showed some DIY’s in their catalog this year, it inspired me to use my existing furniture by adding a simple coat of paint or wrap some fabric around it to have something new (see their pictures below)

If you visit their website you will also notice that you can pin some pictures from their catalog in the website “Pinterest”. They have a contest “PIN TO WIN” (except for Quebec residents), if you pin their selected pictures you have a chance to win an IKEA gift card.

For now, I will wait to receive my catalog by mail and take an hour or two to go through each page.

Note:
