Happy Friday {this moment}

Happy Friday everyone,

how was your week? mine felt extremely long as hubby’s work schedule was all over the place and taking care of Nate by myself was more exhausting than usual. I’m thankful my mom was able to help out, don’t know how I would’ve survived without her. I’m not sure if I have ever shared this with you but I suffer from migraines and lately, I’ve had one almost every day. Advil did not help this week, the migraines were just that bad. I’m so happy it’s Friday and today it’s my youngest brother’s birthday! Happy Birthday little brother!

Remember, last Friday I mentioned I would be posting a picture of a special moment every Friday ?

please, let me indulge again this week:

A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinaire moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

Wish everyone a beautiful weekend!

Thanks again for stopping by!

    I still love to play with the hose and spray the water everywhere! πŸ™‚ My husband has migraines and I know this is not a popular idea but once when he and i first started dating he was beginning to get one as we pulled into the parking lot of our shopping center. So, before I went into the grocery store I ran in to tan – yes, tan (no lectures please) πŸ™‚ I told him I had a little headache once and by coincidence I tanned and it went away. So he tried it and the migraine went away. So, every time he felt one coming on he would go and of the next 10 times, he completely got rid of it 7 times and the other three made it less – worse. WE now own a tanning bed and when he feels one coming on, he’s in there – covers his face with a wash clothe. I don’t know why it works but it does for him. You might try it. Take care!

      πŸ™‚ oh! Kelli, I never heard of this before but it makes sense, maybe we are lacking some Vitamin D which might cause them and the tanning (pretend sun might help?, also covering my face with a wash clothe, I’ve tried it and the migraine calmed down (my dad used to prepare these for me years ago) , I should give it a try again. If the weather is sunny tomorrow I will try a bit of tanning, see if it helps! πŸ™‚ thank you so much Kelli for this suggestion and for taking time to write it! πŸ™‚
      wish you a great weekend too! πŸ™‚

      yeah! but you see in the next days we are expecting a drop in the temperature and these last days, we had to wear a sweater for our morning walks (the afternoons were warmer), we should still expect more sunny and hot days over here but it won’t be long for us to start wearing more sweaters πŸ™‚
      It can happen that in September we have 3 or 4 warm days too, the next day you have to wear boots! ha!ha! πŸ™‚

    And seriously…that picture of Nate is priceless! I remember that feeling so well as a kid — the water spraying all over me. What a perfect moment to capture not only for you, but for him to see and be reminded of years from now!

    Happy Friday and hope you all have a great weekend!

    I remember that is one way we got together on this blogging thing… we both get migraines and bad ones… I feel for you this week πŸ™ I hope it goes away. I usually have success with using heat wrapping my head and on the side it hurts. I also use this bio-freeze on my neck and getting those muscles to relax sometimes helps also. Praying you feel back to normal soon πŸ™‚
