Gift wrapping ideas for the Holidays with brown craft paper

Wrapping Christmas Gifts with brown craft paper

It’s this time of the year again: wrapping Christmas gifts, I will be doing all my family’s gift wrapping this year but I dislike this task. You know, all those Christmas gift displays you see in magazines or in the stores, well my gifts never look like that. Every year this task becomes an adventure I try to avoid for the Holidays but I can’t. So, this Christmas I decided to simplify things around here, I will be wrapping my gifts with inexpensive brown craft paper because it is easy to manipulate, no fancy patterns to consider and makes any ornaments or ribbons stand out. Let me show you how my wrapping gift adventure ended up looking like.

Please be kind … just kidding  🙂

You don’t need to be kind with me, I know they don’t look fancy but I did try my best to embellish them with some inexpensive Christmas ornaments found at the dollar store and at Deserres

Tip: for the ornaments, you don’t need to get anything expensive, I got a couple of pinecones for a dollar at the dollar store and with remaining red paint, I gave them an extra coat to make the colour stand out

Wrapping Christmas Gifts with brown craft paper

This small DIY gift wrapping project was easy and fun to do, I did it while everyone was asleep last night because I have one or two littles gift there for someone and I didn’t want him to see it 😉  I still have more gifts to wrap but wanted to share these pics with you and hope you can get some ideas from them. Wrapping Christmas Gifts with brown craft paper

So pretty! Love the wooden hearts. I knew I should have bought a batch of the ones I found at a thrift store earlier this year. I totally would have copied this. 🙂

oh! thank you! 🙂 yes, as soon as I saw these 4 hearts at Deserres, I knew I had to get them , wasn’t sure at the time how I would use them and yesterday got this idea! (I painted 1 in white but might paint one in red too) 🙂

Oh please! Real people don’t make those. At least they are not doing while they are taking care of their children and the million other things you probably have to do during the day.

These look FANTASTIC! What a funny coincidence too because I just bought 4 rolls of brown kraft paper. I plan on wrapping my Christmas presents in brown paper too. Hopefully mine turn out half as adorable as yours!
